Invited to return for a second summer in 2026, I mentored emerging designers at 1001 Colors (formerly ArtWorks Cincinnati) through an ongoing annual report project.

Across the summer of 2025 and 2026, apprentice teams translated supplied creative direction, copy, and photographic assets into original editorial publications documenting the organization’s accomplishments and impact stories.

Alongside each report, apprentices reflected on their collective experiences to collaboratively author a manifesto articulating their perspectives as young creatives. Moving between digital design and analog production, they printed and distributed their manifestos to their  peers at the end-of-summer celebration, transforming individual reflection into a shared expression of cohort identity.
